Manager/CEO
R. David Bruce (), a graduate of Emory University, has been on the Rockmont staff since 1973. He has served in essentially every staff capacity during his tenure, and as Director from 1987 to 2006. David has a strong understanding of the value of a quality camp experience because of the impact Rockmont has had on his own life. Cindy Bruce, a graduate of Gardner Webb College and Western Carolina University, first joined the Rockmont staff in 1980.
Director
Dan Davis () first joined the Rockmont summer staff in 1983. A graduate of Belmont College in Nashville, TN, Dan and his wife, Karen, earned Master of Divinity Degrees at Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY before becoming year-round staff in 1994. Dan and Karen have worked with many facets of the program including worship, music, staff recruiting and staff training. Dan was hired as the Camp's Director after the 2006 season. The couple have two children, Micah and Josie.
Associate Director
Jon Brooks () began as a counselor at Rockmont in 1983 during his college years at Furman University. He graduated from Furman in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion. Since that time, he has been a part of the year-round staff at Rockmont, recognizing the camp's unique opportunity for ministry. Jon, his wife Lauri, and their two children, Adair & Jordan, also make their home on the Rockmont property.
