As you drive up the tree-shaded lane onto the grounds of Camp Rockmont and first look out across Lake Eden to the Black Mountains in the near distance, you know you have come to the right summer camp for boys — a place carefully planned, a place well tended, a place of unsurpassed beauty and uncompromising excellence.

Camp Rockmont is located 15 miles east of Asheville, NC, near the town of Black Mountain. The summer camp includes a 20-acre private lake and consists of 550 secluded, privately owned acres surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest wilderness. Warm days and cool nights typify the climate, making our location ideal for a sleepaway camp for boys.

Facility

Rockmont’s facility is among the finest in the camping world. We are blessed with an ideal balance of rugged mountainous terrain and level bottom land which includes our lake, four athletic fields and a gymnasium. Rockmont’s buildings and facilities have been planned to complement the magnificent surroundings.

For the Parent

Camp Rockmont is the best tool outside of the home for building values, character, and self-esteem. It’s a Christian summer camp full of love and concern for a parent’s most cherished possession. Christian camps are ideal places for a son to grow one step closer to manhood.

For the Camper

Rockmont is a boys camp of adventure and thrills, a summer camp for new peaks of achievement, a Christian camp of endless friendships and caring, and a place to discover the joys of youth.
