For more than 50 years Camp Rockmont has provided a quality resident camp ministry for campers around the world. In 2009 we also plan to provide the same level of care and intentional youth development to boys and girls in our own backyard through a day camp program. The daily program at the Rockmont Day Camp will include aspects of personal growth through team play, exploring the natural world, introducing new skills, quiet creative time, and building a community that includes each child’s gift. Water activities, outdoor adventure, group games, and family meals will be daily activities. We strive to show each camper that they are a unique child of God and that they have a unique story written in each day’s journey.
From 8:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday, up to 30 campers who have completed K through 4th grade will join us for an uplifting program with individual attention and unique experiences they will remember the rest of their lives!
Rockmont is located on 500 acres at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains beyond Swannanoa and one mile past Owen High School. Families may register online!
