I had a phenomenal evening in Raleigh, NC with the Tillman family. Rollie and his sister, Eliza, were great hosts and seven families were represented. I just got back from a great time at the Fulford’s house in Wilson, NC. I got to hang out with John T., Carr, Addison, Dylan, Tanner and their families. It was an awesome opportunity to share the Rockmont story and recruit some new campers. Next up: Raleigh.

Tennessee in a Day

Yesterday I was able to visit Sewanee and Chattanooga. At Sewanee, I got to visit and drink some coffee with Andrew Nevin, Chris Vaughan, and Shelby Bartlett. Last night I was at the Seaman’s house in Knoxville, TN. TJ and his parents, Leigh and Matt, were great hosts. TJ went to camp last year and is working on getting some other buddies to join him this year. Leigh made some great food and even gave me a few sandwiches for the road. Overall, a great night indeed.

Greetings! We just got back from an awesome show at the Ferachi’s home. The Ferachi family includes Cameron, Christopher, Keegan, Kennedy, Carter, Camille, several dogs, a few cats and even a pet snake. They did a great job of inviting their friends and spreading the word on the good things happening at Camp Rockmont.

Cody, a long time Rockmonter, did a great job of getting the word out to some of his buddies from school. They even made a “Rockmont Rocks” cake to commemorate the evening. It was great visiting with the Buschards and several other families. We didn’t just talk about camping, either. We lived it in the backyard by making smores.
